Nashville: you’ve got to go!
I’ve visited Nashville four times and each time I love it a little more. The city has grown every time I’ve been there. If you’re into food, fun, and – of course – music, then look no further than Nashville.
Where to stay: Omni. It is clean and offers a great location for Broadway Street and the convention center.
Where to eat: This is a tough one because there are so many wonderful restaurants! I loved Bar Taco for lunch and great drinks. Restaurant M was the best dinner I have had in a long time – get the steak! If you are looking for a good breakfast spot, hit up Biscuit Love – just go early or be prepared to wait in line!
Music: Mind-blowing, amazing music is everywhere. Coffee shops, restaurants, bars, and everything in between offer live music. My favorite spot on Broadway was The Mellow Mushroom. I love how you can go upstairs, have (and hear!) a conversation, and tune into the best music. They have a great menu (pizza), courteous staff, and fun drinks. If you’ve got a big group, go to The Listening Room.
Honestly, I could go on and on; just book it and GO! Leave the kids at home; this is a fun city for an adults’ trip.
