I wasn't afraid to turn 40. But I’ve never been a big fan of birthdays and I DO NOT want to be the center of attention. I'm happy to celebrate anyone else, just not myself. Can you relate?
In June, I turned 40 and I was ready for it! So many friends have turned 40; it must be because I am so mature(!) and have hung out with older people for the majority of my life. (I hope you can hear the sarcasm in my voice here!).
Everyone says your 40s are the best years of your life and I am excited! This is a big year for our family with lots of changes. Our oldest goes to high school and our youngest starts kindergarten. (Yep, that big of a gap!). So, once again, I ask myself: what the hell will I do with my time? I'm having fun with that one right now – stay tuned!
For now, though, I’m sharing my Top 40. Thank you for being a part of this wild ride with me.
