People always ask me:
How do you get all those customers?
How did you get that job?
How did you get so many incredible team members?
How did you get that big sale?
The answer is simple. Notice I said simple, not easy. Make sure you understand the difference.
I ASK for it.
I ask for the sale.
I ask for the business.
I ask what I can do to earn someone’s business.
I ask what I can do to earn someone’s trust.
I ask for the challenge.
I ask for more responsibility.
Additionally, I ask HOW I am doing. I ask HOW can I do better? I don’t wait to hear it from someone; I seek out feedback, constantly.
I ask people to consider me, to remember me when they are ready to buy or when they are ready to start a business. I ask people to think of me when they book their next speaker.
Please understand this: everything is up for negotiation. Don't take no for an answer. No is not final; it simply means not right now.
