Our Go To Morning Smoothie



Our whole family loves this smoothie. The kids, of course, fill up on a big ol’ breakfast and drink this smoothie as they head to school. Rog enjoys his for breakfast. I drink this for lunch as you know I'm a big fan of celery juice in the mornings.


I love this smoothie because it fuels everyone for the day AND keeps the kids full of energy for a busy day at school. The healthy ingredients aren’t too shabby, either! Even Kolie (3) enjoys this smoothie. Remember, kids don’t know what they shouldn’t like! Healthy eating is a non-negotiable around here!


I toss the following in the Vitamix and away we go:


1/2 cup water

1 scoop of ice

1/4 cup of frozen blueberries (I buy the large bag at Costco)

2 cups fresh spinach

1 medium banana

1 tablespoon of chia seeds

1 scoop protein powder (we love Isagenix vanilla)
