BE REAL, LAUGH, LEARN --- IN THAT ORDER

I’ve been an entrepreneur for 16 years. You better believe that I searched out (and continue to do so) all the help, advice, coaching, mentoring and "realness" I could find. As a mom to three amazing girls, I look for even more honesty and advice as I strive to build my business and be present with my family.

Yep, I said it: I’m proof that you can grow a thriving business, be a hands-on mom, and enjoy the ride --- maybe not at every minute, but certainly overall.

The concept of “having it all” is ever-present in our world. Social media, videos, blogs, and entire books preach the idea that women can cherish all parts of “work-life balance.” I’ve noticed, though, there’s not much realness to be found; at least, anyway, not enough for me. I’m done with the perfect blogs: perfect hair, perfect office, perfect kids, perfect nursery (the list goes on and on). Where is the real?

My friends, this website is a labor of love to show you the real me: my life, my business, my kids. I hope to offer a fresh breath of air --- something we all need as we navigate the craziness of life.

Here, you’ll find advice, laughs, failures, doubts, successes and all the in-betweens of life, business-building and the raising of a family. I’m sharing what I looked for and couldn’t find, all in one place.

Buckle up. We are going to be real, laugh (a whole lot) and learn --- yes, in that order. You will not learn if you aren’t real and quite frankly, my real will make you laugh! (And if it doesn’t, you don’t have a sense of humor. Wink, wink.).
